Cozy Ridge Stripe Beanie Crochet Pattern

Begin with a ribbed brim, then build striped rounds with puff stitches and third-loop texture. Mix your favourite worsted yarn colours for six sizes from newborn to adult.

Six sizes: newborn, baby, toddler, child, teen and adult. Unstretched brim circumferences are approximately 11, 12, 16, 17, 18 and 19 in / 27.9, 30.5, 40.6, 43.2, 45.7 and 48.3 cm respectively. The pattern allows about 1–3 in / 2.5–7.6 cm of stretch depending on yarn, size and tension. Check gauge and the recipient’s head measurement.

Use worsted #4 yarn, approximately 70–200 yd / 64–183 m depending on size, 5.5 mm and 6 mm crochet hooks, a yarn needle, scissors and an optional pompom. Suitable for crocheters comfortable with written patterns, puff stitches, third-loop work and changing colours. The PDF includes gauge swatches and stitch guidance.
