About This Pattern
Work flat in rows to build the knight motif, changing between two colours. The PDF explains floating the inactive yarn and cutting and rejoining it for longer colour sections. Finish the pointed banner edge and attach it to a dowel; add optional tassels if you like.
Choose a high-contrast pair of colours to make the knight silhouette stand out.

Size & Fit
The main banner starts with 58 chains and is worked across 57 single-crochet stitches. Finished dimensions depend on your yarn, hook and tension; the PDF does not give a fixed finished measurement.
The suggested dowel is 11.4 in / 29 cm long and about 0.4 in / 1 cm in diameter. Check it against your finished banner before attaching.
Yarn, Tools & Skill Level
A 3 mm crochet hook; two contrasting yarn colours, with the source suggesting one 100 g / 250 m (about 273 yd) skein of cotton for each colour; tapestry needle; scissors; and a wooden dowel.
Uses US crochet terminology. You should be comfortable with chains, single crochet, working flat rows and colour changes. Photo guidance and colour-block instructions support the tapestry work.
